Our Key People
Tourism Doctor was conceived through the development of various web portals promoting southern Scotland in conjunction with the continuous request for assistance with web marketing by tourism related businesses.
With the combined experience of Andrew Case and Ronnie Bradford, both local to Dumfries and Galloway, this became a natural development for the business. The use of new technologies has enabled Tourism Doctor to be at the forefront of online marketing and the focus on tourism provides a unique understanding of the market.
Andrew Case - Having been in the hotel and hospitality industry for over 20 years Andrew originally created www.southernuplandway.com to promote Scotland’s coast to coast in an attempt to lure more walkers to the wonderful and diverse area of southern Scotland.
Continuous development of this web marketing for southern Scotland in conjunction with arranging many activity holiday packages in the region has lead to a real understanding of the needs of the tourism industry.
“Our strategy for the future development of our tourism industry must be based on a clear understanding of changes that are taking place in world tourism; on an appreciation of what Southern Scotland has to offer: and on the views of those within the industry itself"
Ronnie Bradford – Although having spent most of his professional career in the Motor Industry, Ronnie’s web, IT and sales & marketing experience gained whilst running his own award winning Internet based company, have been easily adapted to the skills required for today’s Tourism Industry.
Committed to the successful expansion of Tourism and Business within the region he is an active member of a number of similarly committed organisations such as the Dumfries Chamber of Commerce, the Area Tourism Partnership, the 7stanes Advisory Group and the Mountain Bike Business Network. Ronnie is also a director of the highly successful Crichton Development Company.
