walkers on the Southern Upland Way.
Based at our offices and Visitor Information Centre in Dalry, our 7 seat
Landrover Defender provides vital support to walkers that require assistance in breaking
down some of the longer sections of the route. The vehicle also operates to provide
luggage transfers and assists walkers partaking in more local walks in and
around the Glenkens area.
These
services are crucial for the ongoing success of the route to assist walkers that
do not have the fitness levels and ability to walk some of the longer more
daunting sections such as Bargrennan to Dalry and Dalry to Sanquhar.
