TD to work with the Wickerman

Tourism Doctor have agreed a cross promotion collaboration with the organisers of the world famous Wickerman Festival.

The Wickerman Festival has now established itself as one of the 'must do' events in the Dumfries and Galloway events calendar attracting over 20,000 music lovers to the region every July. Following Tourism Doctor being invited to give a presentation on the current prospects of the local tourism industry to the area committee of the Dumfries and Galloway regional council, we were approached by Jamie Gilroy about working with the organisers of the Wickerman to help promote the event through the regions leading web portal, VisitSouthernScotland.com.

New pages promoting the event now appear on VisitSouthernScotland.com to promote the Wickerman Festival as one of Scotland's premier music events and introduce the festival to a new audience. In return, VisitSouthernScotland.com are the preferred source of accommodation and other toursim information for festival goers with highly visible links on the Wickerman Festival website.
